On the 24th of January 2015 the Creative Industries Award 2015 has finally announced its winners. This is aimed to reward Initiatives, Talent, Creativity and Entrepreneurship across the creative industries, recognized the central role they play in the development of a competitive and sustainable creative economy.

The 4th edition of the Creative Industry Awards took place at the British Council Garden, 20 Thompson Drive, Ikoyi, Lagos; with the theme: “INNOVATION AND CREATIVITY”. Performances came from Isaac Geralds, Cone ‘Aduke’, Baseline Records Afro-Soul Diva Aramide, Capital FEMI, and Jaywon.

  1. i believe dance and theatre shouldn’t have been categorized together, therefore, these awards carry no weight. djs are totally different from performing arts and shouldn’t be categorized as so. denizens of the two fields are different and i think for the next edition it should be reviewed.
